The Week in Review
By Jimi Jones
Each week in this series we will highlight some of my internet travels and stops along the information highway that added value to the community as a whole.
The idea is to share with you some of the wonderful things about the online life.
The week ending Sunday October 25th 2009
We begin the Week in Review with the big story, the release of Windows 7 on engadget. Thursday’s rollout was met with Windows 7 Launch parties and all sorts of fanfare. The real test is on now as expectations are high. Minimally, this OS has to outpace the ever- poor performance of Vista and live up to it’s security claims.
Using Windows 7 already and ready to tinker? Here are 21 Ways to Customize Windows 7 (slideshow)

Stops along the way
The Blog World Expo was held last week and John Chow put up a nice Day 1 video from his vantage point.

Thanks for the shout out Jimi! And looks like my header makes a decent “banner” too!
I’ll be spending some time checking that State of the Blogosphere -post series and results out. I started already yesterday and noticed for example, that based on the study, bloggers use about 3 hours on blog commenting a week (on average) which inspired me to fire that post you linked to.

You are welcome, Antti
That;s a great post that deserves the exposure. That header image does make a nice banner, huh
I’ve read the State of the Blogosphere (great info and stats there) and will likely squeeze a post out of the deal.

Thanks for sharing those Jimi.
I haven’t read any of them yet so I’ll have to check them out.
